Solarmovies Subtitles: Language, Size and Timing

Choose a useful subtitle or caption track and troubleshoot readability or timing on the viewing service.

Choose the track before the story gets going

Open the language menu in the player you are using. Check spoken audio and subtitles separately. The original language recorded on a Solarmovies card describes the production; it is not a list of every track available in your country.

For easier reading

Where supported, adjust subtitle size and contrast for the screen and distance. A shaded background can help over bright images. Captions may include speakers and important sounds in addition to dialogue, so look for that option when it is useful.

When words and dialogue do not match

  1. Confirm that the selected subtitle language is the one you intended.
  2. Check whether another track is offered for the same edition.
  3. Use a small timing adjustment if the player provides it.
  4. If the error persists, consult that service's subtitle help.

Changing the film's language filter in the catalog does not alter a subtitle track already playing elsewhere. Keep your adjustments on the viewing page.
